(Marketing) The Marketing program at university level focuses on understanding and applying marketing principles within the context of the modern business environment. Students learn how to conduct market research, segment target audiences, and develop and implement effective marketing strategies. The program combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills, so students gain insight into how marketing communication, branding, and digital marketing strategies can contribute to organizational success. Through working on group projects, cases and internships, students develop not only their analytical and creative skills, but also their ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams. This program prepares students for a dynamic career in marketing and provides a solid foundation for further specialization in areas such as digital marketing or brand management.

Required Education

For admission to the WO Marketing program you need a VWO diploma or a completed HBO propaedeutic year. The subject profile Economics & Society (E&M) aligns best with this program, but Culture & Society (C&M) also provides a good foundation. Mathematics A or B is usually a required subject, and Economics is strongly recommended due to the business focus of the program. If you don't have a VWO diploma, you can also be admitted to the program through a 21+ entrance exam or the colloquium doctum.
